Privacy policy
This policy explains how we process your personal data when you contact us or browse kaineos.es, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD). Last updated: 21 July 2026.

What data we collect
Data you provide. Whatever you enter in the contact form or send to hola@kaineos.es: name, email address, company and the content of your message, plus any optional fields you fill in (role, sector, project type, volume and markets).
Usage data. We automatically record the page visited, the referring page, the language, campaign parameters in the URL and a random session identifier. When you submit the form we also store your browser and a cryptographic hash of your IP address, from which the original IP cannot be reconstructed.
The browser stores a record that you've seen the notice (localStorage) and the session identifier (sessionStorage). More detail in our cookie policy.
Purpose and legal basis
We use your data exclusively to respond to your enquiry and, if applicable, to manage the resulting business relationship. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) when initiating contact and, where relevant, the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Usage data is processed to measure in aggregate which content works and to keep the site secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) in understanding how our own site performs — a minimal-impact processing that builds no profiles and does not track you across sites.
Retention period
We keep data for the time needed to respond and, if the conversation leads to a project, for the duration of that relationship and the legal periods that follow (commercial, tax). If the enquiry does not progress, we delete the data within a reasonable time.
Recipients
We do not share personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. Form and usage data are stored with Supabase, our database provider (data processor), on servers located in the European Union. Your email is processed via our corporate email provider (data processor). The site loads the Manrope typeface from Google Fonts: this involves a connection to Google's servers which receive your IP for technical reasons. No international transfers are made outside those covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.
Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time by writing to hola@kaineos.es. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) if you believe your rights have not been addressed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The date of the latest revision is shown at the top of the document.
